Website & Themes
ToolbagCRM currently uses Industrial as its default and only selectable theme. Industrial supports light and dark modes. Studio, Heritage Trade, and Synthwave do not appear in the theme picker and cannot be selected right now.
Current availability: Industrial is available now. The other theme sections below are planning references for designs that may return; they are not options customers can enable today.
What themes change
A theme is more than a color picker. A selectable theme can change:
- the dashboard visual style,
- fonts and spacing,
- card, table, button, and form styling,
- light or dark mode support,
- sidebar color and texture,
- whether navigation appears as a left sidebar or a top navigation bar.
The underlying sections and workflows stay the same. A customer, job, invoice, or plugin does not become a different feature because the visual design changes.
Industrial
Available now. Industrial is the current default and the only theme offered in the theme picker. It uses a heavy-equipment control-room style with high-contrast panels, amber accents, and a left rail/sidebar navigation layout.
Studio
Not currently selectable. Studio is a clean dashboard design with a modern light interface, simple cards, and a traditional left sidebar.
Heritage Trade
Not currently selectable. Heritage Trade is a contractor-style design with cream surfaces, strong display typography, hard borders, and a traditional left sidebar.
Synthwave
Not currently selectable. Synthwave is a dark-only neon design that moves the main sections from a left sidebar into a top navigation bar.
How navigation can change by theme
Industrial currently keeps the main sections in a left rail/sidebar. If the other designs become selectable later, Studio and Heritage Trade would also use left-side navigation, while Synthwave would use grouped top menus such as Operations, Finance, Team, Customer, and System.
When training a team, explain the workflow by feature name first, not by screen position only. For example:
- Say “open Jobs” instead of only “click the left sidebar.”
- Say “open Finance → Invoices” instead of assuming the menu is always on the left.
- If an older screenshot shows a different layout, check whether it is a planning preview before assuming that option is available.
Theme modes
Industrial supports light and dark modes, with dark as its default and signature look. Some accounts may also use branded mode, where the account’s brand colors are layered over the theme.
The hidden designs have their own planned mode support, but their mode choices do not appear because those themes are not currently selectable.
Tips
- Expect to see Industrial in the theme picker today.
- Use feature names rather than screen positions when training the team so instructions remain clear if more themes return later.
- Treat Studio, Heritage Trade, and Synthwave screenshots as planning previews, not as options currently available in your account.
- If an older saved preference points to an unavailable design, ToolbagCRM uses Industrial instead.
Troubleshooting
I only see Industrial in the theme picker
That is the current product behavior. Industrial is the only theme available to select. Studio, Heritage Trade, and Synthwave are hidden, and no account setting can turn them on today.
