Room Visualizer (Private Preview)
Private Preview: Room Visualizer is available to invited partners only. Its features, prices, and limits may change before general release. If it is not available in your workspace, continue using your existing customer-approval process.
Use Room Visualizer to show a customer how Sherwin-Williams paint colours might look on a photo of their own room. The AI estimates walls and ceilings from one photo; you review and correct the outlines, choose colours, then render an image to share. It does not measure surfaces or guarantee how paint will look in person. Check the result with the customer before ordering paint or approving work.
Before you start
- Your workspace must have access to the Private Preview and Room Visualizer turned on. Open Room Visualizer from the navigation if it is available to you.
- You need a customer record and Room Visualizer write access to create or edit a visualization. You can optionally associate a job and quote for that customer.
- Have a clear room photo in JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC format, no larger than 20 MB. Avoid including people or private information you do not need to share.
- Analyze photo and Render each show their price before you confirm. The charge is taken from your AI wallet when the respective operation finishes. Make sure the wallet has enough funds before you proceed.
Create and review a visualization
- Open Room Visualizer and select New visualization.
- Search for and choose the customer. Optionally choose one of their jobs and quotes.
- Enter a title (up to 120 characters), then select Take photo or Choose photo and Upload photo.
- Open the uploaded visualization and select Analyze photo. Review the price in the confirmation before selecting Analyze. Analysis usually takes one to two minutes; you can leave and return while it runs.
- When the status is Ready, inspect the numbered Surfaces against the photo. Check any surface marked Check. Select a surface to rename it, change its type, or merge it with another. Use Add to surface or Erase, with Undo and Redo, to correct an outline. The AI's outline is an estimate, not a measurement.
- Choose a Paint colour for at least one surface. Use Show paint preview to compare the selection with the original photo; select Save to keep your edits.
- Select Render and confirm its price. Editing pauses while the render runs, usually about a minute. Review the Rendered image before sharing it. The image is AI-generated; actual results may differ.
The list shows Not analyzed, Analyzing, Ready, Failed, or Rendered so you can return to unfinished work. If analysis fails, check the displayed error and use Try analysis again only after reviewing the new confirmation and price. If rendering fails, review the error before retrying; do not assume a failed attempt produced a shareable image.
Share or remove the result
Once you have checked the rendered image, use Copy share link, Email to customer, or Text to customer in the editor. Confirm the intended recipient and the image before sending. A shared rendering is a visual estimate, not a paint specification or a customer approval record.
Delete removes the photo, surface outlines, and rendered image. Existing share links stop working. Use it only when you no longer need the visualization; the confirmation does not offer a way to recover it.
Troubleshooting
- The photo will not upload: Check the file type and 20 MB limit. If the app cannot read the photo, try a JPG or PNG copy.
- The wallet cannot cover analysis or rendering: Select Add funds from the wallet notice, then return and review the price again.
- Colours do not appear: Retry the colour list from the editor's error message. Do not send an unfinished preview as a completed rendering.
- The photo or outlines cannot load: Reload the editor. If the problem continues, contact ToolbagCRM support rather than recreating the customer's record.
