Idea stage: Pest Control is a concept and is not available to turn on yet. This guide describes planning considerations, not a working treatment or compliance system; details may change before release.
Pest Control is an idea for keeping pest-service information alongside customers and jobs. The current screen cannot record treatments, map stations, schedule repeat visits, or produce reports. Keep using your existing field and compliance processes.
When to consider this
If your team services homes or commercial properties, consider which information you would need in a future pest-service workflow:
- Customer and job references for each visit.
- Station or trap locations, inspections, and follow-up needs.
- Target pests and treatment details recorded by the applicator.
- Repeat-visit dates and customer-reported sightings.
- Customer service records and any jurisdiction-specific regulatory records.
These are planning questions, not available fields or promised features.
Before a future rollout
- Keep your existing station maps, treatment records, appointment schedule, and customer reports. The Idea screen does not replace them.
- Decide how your team identifies properties and stations so technicians can match a record to the right site.
- Identify the records your licensed applicators and compliance lead must retain under the rules that apply to your work.
- Do not move an active route or regulatory recordkeeping process to this concept until a released workflow has been verified for your account.
Treatment and compliance records
Do not rely on Pest Control to check application rates, product labels, applicator credentials, re-entry intervals, or legal reporting requirements. There is no customer-facing treatment-entry or regulatory-export workflow on the Idea screen. Follow your approved procedures, product labels, and applicable rules, and review any future reporting capability with your compliance lead before using it for a submission.
Current availability
The Pest Control route shows an Idea placeholder, not a working service page. There is no confirmed release date or finalized set of controls. If you need to track pest work now, continue with your existing approved records; use ToolbagCRM's Jobs only where they fit that process.
